FINALLY! I actually found the time to actually do something and submit it, whooo...I feel pleased with myself. I apologize for the lack of submitting...uni is really getting stressful, now I can take a break.

I love chibis, they are just so cute! So i chibified the two girls and set them on a flower. I changed some of the colors of the original piece. I guess that's what you get when you gain more knowledge with colour theory in uni.

After sketching the girls, I inked them and the rest of the image with a brush pen. I colored the picture with color pencils and did the rest of the sparkles effect with gouache paints. I used the gold and silver pens for the magical bits of the picture and added some color pencil shades to give a more subtle 3 dimensional effect (hope u can see it, if u don't, blame the scanner ) Do use the full view if u want to see the details, u won't be disappointed ^^

Anyway, enough of me babbling, I hope you guys think that this is sufficient enough. Now I will see how to put my art back now that I'm finished with my assessment and on to the exhibition ^^
